📅 April 3, 2006 - Web hosting provider Active 24 (active24.com) announced on Friday it has launched two new hosting plans, Active Home and Active Business, catering to the needs of its individual consumers and businesses.

Active Home is a complete consumer package while Active Business offers a complete set of tools for small and medium-sized businesses. The new packages offer such features MS SharePoint, Blog, Sitebuilder, Net Album and SQL and include everything users need to create their Web sites and expand their online business.

The company has also developed a new administration interface "My Account," and redesigned its Web site. The company says it plans to add optional modules such as CRM systems, accounting systems and back-up in the near future.

"We are very proud to finally launch our new packages and are convinced that this will be a success in the market," says Jaap Zuiderveld, CEO of Active 24. "Our vision is to gain the position as the preferred choice in the market and we believe this preeminent offer is going to make that happen."

Within the new framework, Active 24's partners will be able to virtually host Microsoft (microsoft.com) products such as Exchange and SharePoint.
