📅 April 20, 2006 - Email solutions and service provider OmniTI Computer Consulting (omniti.com) announced on Wednesday that it has joined the Email Sender and Provider Coalition (espcoalition.com), an association of industry professionals working to fight the proliferation of spam and the emerging problem of email deliverability.

OmniTI's affiliation with ESPC is congruent with the company's history, as its Ecelerity email solutions were among the first to market industry efforts of incorporating Internet Service Provider best practices and ensure the delivery of legitimate email.

"Each prospective new member must commit to uphold the highest of industry standards. OmniTI's adherence to email best practices meets the standards we require for membership," says Trevor Hughes, executive director of the ESPC. "We are pleased that they have joined and we look forward to the role they will play in helping to broaden the scope and expertise of our membership."

OmniTI joined email experts from around the nation on Wednesday for ESPC's Deliverability Bootcamp, a half-day comprehensive program focusing on ISP best practices and email deliverability. The event will discuss how to effectively navigate the numerous standards, whitelists, filters and blacklists used by ISPs, as well as profile the latest postmaster and reporting tools to help companies improve deliverability while reducing spam and inbound abuse.
