May 5, 2006 : Profitability.net Acquires CNS Group

📅 May 5, 2006 - Managed services and data center services provider Profitability.net (profitability.net) announced on Thursday it has acquired Cincinnati-based CNSGroup (cnsgroup.com) and its wholly owned subsidiary DataSuites (data-suites.com).

DataSuites provides secure private data center environments for some of the Tri-state's largest public companies. The acquisition has added to Profitability.net an existing 11,000 square foot data center and 12,000 square foot of expansion space.

"This acquisition supports our growth plan to be the first choice among local executives and IT professionals for data center space and managed services," says Aaron Larkins, president of Profitability.net. "DataSuites provides us with a $6-plus million dollar data center infrastructure that will be used as a primary or disaster recovery facility for our clients."

The DataSuites facility features multiple levels of security, uninterruptible backup power via a UPS and diesel generator with a 5,000 gallon fuel reserve, redundant HVAC systems, fire suppression, and is located close to the fiber routes of several major carriers.
