The DNSO Names Council Transfers and Whois Task Forces have issued reports and invited public comment on them:

Transfers Task Force

The DNSO Names Council's Transfers Task Force has issued its "Final Report & Recommendations – Policies and Processes for Gaining and Losing Registrars". This report submits twenty-eight policy recommendations to the Names Council for consideration as consensus policies. These recommendations are the subject of item 3 on the agenda for the Names Council's 14 December 2002 meeting:

Whois Task Force

The DNSO Names Council's Whois Task Force has issued its Policy Report on Whois Accuracy and Bulk Access. The report contains consensus policy recommendations as well as advice and comment from the Task Force. These recommendations are the subject of item 4 on the agenda for the Names Council's 14 December 2002 meeting:

📅 Nov 29, 2002 - Netcraft reveals hosted domains with C&W, Digex decline - The Netcraft survey found that complex Web hosting businesses are continuing to lose business, while some SME hosting firms are seeing dramatic growth. 📅 Nov 29, 2002 - Allegiance Telecom reaches agreement with senior bank creditors - Allegiance Telecom, Inc. a leading integrated communications provider which operates Hosting.com, announced that it has reached agreement with its senior bank creditors regarding modifications to its $500 million senior secured credit facility. Under the agreement, Allegiance obtained a waiver of all existing financial covenants through April 30, 2003 and replaced those covenants during this period with a free cash flow from operations covenant (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization less capital expenditures) and a total leverage covenant. (electricmail.com) announced on Friday that it has released its unaudited third quarter results for the period ending September 30, 2002, reporting revenues of approximately $588,000, up 24 percent over the same period last year. (comodogroup.com) said on Monday that it has partnered with privately-owned Internet security consulting firm E-Soft (e-softinc.com) to integrate SecuritySpace security audits into Comodo's SSL and Web identity assurance offerings. (cgi.com) announced on Monday that it has completed the acquisition of INSpire Insurance Solutions Inc. for a total of $5.4 million in cash.
