May 31, 2006 : Peer 1 Report Highlights Growth

📅 May 31, 2006 - Web hosting and colocation provider PEER 1 Network Enterprises (peer1.com ) announced on Tuesday that it had released its results for the third quarter of its fiscal 2006, the three months ending March 31, 2006.

According to the report, the company saw revenue increase to $17.63 million, an increase of 202 percent compared to the $5.84 million generated in the same quarter a year earlier. The company also appointed a new chief financial officer, Gary N Sherlock, during the quarter.

The company also signed a lease for additional data center space in San Antonio, after its dedicated server subsidiary ServerBeach reached capacity in both of its two San Antonio facilities. The expansion will enable ServerBeach to consolidate its operations in a single location.

Along with the release of third-quarter results, Peer 1 announced that it had appointed Bill White to the new position of Chief Information Officer. The company says White brings more than 30 years of information technology experience to the company, and carries experience in project management, organizational change initiatives and business requirements analysis.

"Expanding our operations, delivering improved financial performance and strengthening our senior management team are all part of PEER 1's plan to create sustainable shareholder value," says Fabio M. Banducci, PEER 1's executive vice president. "We are very pleased with the progress that we made during our third quarter."
