FLAG Expands India and Trans-Pacific Connectivity With Subsea Cable Investments

📅 - FLAG has announced investments in the MIST and I2SEA cable systems, extending its network across India and Asia alongside its previously acquired fiber pair on the ECHO trans-Pacific system.

The investments form part of FLAG's Vision 2030 strategy to increase capacity and route diversity for enterprise, cloud, and AI traffic.

Through an agreement with Orient Lines, owner of MIST, FLAG will add connectivity between Mumbai and Singapore. MIST has operated since 2024, with FLAG services scheduled to become available in October 2026.

FLAG has also contracted with Lightstorm for a fiber pair on I2SEA, connecting Machilipatnam, Chennai, and Singapore. The company is additionally investing in [...][... Check source for end of article ...]
