NVIDIA AI Server Prices Rise Over 15% as Memory Costs Surge
📅 - NVIDIA is preparing price increases of more than 15% on some AI servers as memory costs surge, according to Bloomberg, exposing a new pressure point in data center economics. The increases are expected on systems shipping in early 2027, including configurations using Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell chips, as HBM and server DRAM supplies remain tight globally.
The reported increases are significant partly because NVIDIA has had enough margin in its accelerator business to absorb plenty of component inflation without immediately passing it through. 📅 - AZIO Plans 500MW Compute Campus Powered by Natural Gas - AZIO AI Holdings is developing a South Texas compute campus around behind the meter natural gas generation, with 11 MW secured and 6 MW already running Bitcoin mining workloads. The company says the 548 acre Atlas One site could eventually support another 500 MW, but that capacity remains unfinanced, uncontracted and dependent on permits and customer commitments.
