📅 June 15, 2006 - Data center operator and managed services provider Peak 10 (peak10.com -> flexential.com) announced on Wednesday it has opened a field sales office in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The new location will drive business development in the Triad region, complimenting its data centers in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina. Peak 10 is the largest data center solutions provider in the Southeast with seven data centers in five key markets.

"Having an office in the Triad region will allow us to develop stronger relationships with our current customers in the area and to better capture new opportunities in this growing market," says Jeff Spalding, VP of sales and marketing for Peak 10. "We have the largest data center footprint in North Carolina and the Triad region is uniquely positioned to take advantage of our data center facilities in the state."

In related news, Mike Dewett has joined Peak 10 and will serve as the company's senior business development manager in the Triad region. He will be based at the new Greensboro office located at 7800 Airport Center Drive in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The announcement comes off the heels of last week's opening of Peak 10's second data center in Tampa.

The 15,400 square foot data center brings the company's total Tampa data center space to more than 30,000 square feet.
