📅 July 10, 2006 - Enterprise network storage systems provider Pillar Data Systems (pillardata.com) announced on Monday that managed service provider Pertineo (pertineo.net) has chosen Pillar to implement a SAN storage solution for the company.

The solution was designed to meet the needs of Pillar's increasing facilities management activity while optimizing the availability of its installation. Full deployment of the solution, which included testing, platform installation and migration of the 35 client environments, took two months.

Pertineo had reached its limitations due to its increase in customers. This led the company to enlist the help of Pillar Data Systems, which implemented a SAN storage solution for the company that features a high level of uptime based on SAN technology and virtualization, ensuring Pertineo's service levels.

The managed service provider provides operational responses to companies looking to outsource their production computing system to avoid the difficulties associated with rolling out new technologies. It also offers its services to ASP operators, call center operators for their hotline and support platforms, banks and e-commerce sites.
