IDC: Asia/Pacific Public Cloud Market Grew 24.2% to $41.5B in 2023
📅 - According to IDCs Worldwide Semiannual Public Cloud Services Tracker, 2H2 3, the market forpublic cloudservices in Asia/Pacific excluding Japan and China (APeJC) reached US$41.5 billion in 2023, growing at a rate of 24.2% year over year (YoY).
With the exception of China and Japan, the top five public cloud service providers in Asia/Pacific (listed alphabetically) are still Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Despite encountering obstacles from emerging competitors and multinational corporations, they managed to secure 41.2% of the overall market share in 2023 - a little increase over 41.0% in 2022.
