Oracle Opens Second Public Cloud Region to Boost AI Economy Saudi Arabia

📅 August 7, 2024 - Oracle has announced the establishment of its secondpublic cloudregion in Saudi Arabia in response to rapidly increasing demand for its AI and cloud services. To modernize and innovate their applications with data, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), companies in the public and private sectors can move various workloads toOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)using the new cloud region in Riyadh.

In line with Oracle's distributed cloud strategy, the new region is intended to contribute to the Kingdom's AI economy, which is expected to reach $135.2 billion by 2030, as part of Oracle's $1.5 billion commitment to enhance cloud infrastructure capabilities in the Kingdom.
