📅 October 25, 2006 - Content delivery network operator VitalStream Holdings (vitalstream.com -> inap.com) announced on Monday it will power the Los Angeles Kings online video portal for the new NHL hockey season with its partner VirtuPoint (virtupoint.com), a digital media producer and distributor.

Together, VitalStream and VirtuPoint will broadcast KingsTV. VitalStream says KingsTV provides fans with coverage of live events including press conferences, pre-game build-up and post-game interviews. Hockey fans can watch interviews with players after morning practices and see post-game analysis, press conferences and interviews with the coaches and players from both sides.

VirtuPoint delivers video encoding and production, while VitalStream's content delivery network provides the streaming for Kings fans and the organization's internal and affiliate needs.
