94 Percent of Organizations Are Concerned About Container Security

January 10, 2019 - DevOps teams' increasing use of containers to accelerate software development and deployment has added complexity for security teams. That's why 94 percent of companies with over 100 employees acknowledge they are concerned about container security, according to cyber security company Tripwire (tripwire.com)'s survey conducted in partnership with Dimensional Research.

Tripwire (tripwire.com)'s study, conducted in November 2018, surveyed 311 IT security professionals who manage environments with containers at companies with over 100 employees. Jan 9, 2019 - Radware Acquires Bot Management Solutions Provider ShieldSquare - Nasdaq-listed cyber security company Radware (radware.com) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire bot management solutions provider, ShieldSquare. The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter of 2019, subject to customary closing and regulatory conditions. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

After acquiring Swiss hosting company Switchplus last month and Danish hosting group Zitcom in 2017, Combell has now announced the acquisition of Antwerp-based hosting provider, Nucleus (nucleus.be).

Jan 10, 2019 - Vantage Data Centers Buys 50-acre Plot in Phoenix, Plans to Build 160MW Campus - North American wholesale data center provider, Vantage Data Centers (vantagedatacenters.com) has acquired 50 acres of land in the Greater Phoenix area to build a mega-scale data center campus. Phoenix represents the company's sixth data center market, up from two markets 12 months ago, following its expansion into Northern Virginia and recently announced expansion into Montreal and Quebec City through the pending 4Degrees Colocation acquisition.
