📅 - Multi-cloud data orchestration provider Kmesh. (kmesh.io)io has announced generally availability of its Kmesh SaaS platform to customers including enterprises, cloud service providers (CSPs), and technology vendors. This multi-cloud data mobility SaaS platform includes a data orchestration layer integrated with a Lustre-based HPC file-system.
Kmesh SaaS incorporates all the functionality needed to real-time manage data across cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud deployments. The solution establishes a single namespace for a variety of each customer's data – including file-system data, HPC data, genomics data, NoSQL data – regardless of where the data resides and where it is used.

📅 - Vantage Data Centers Buys 50-acre Plot in Phoenix, Plans to Build 160MW Campus - North American wholesale data center provider, Vantage Data Centers (vantagedatacenters.com) has acquired 50 acres of land in the Greater Phoenix area to build a mega-scale data center campus. Phoenix represents the company's sixth data center market, up from two markets 12 months ago, following its expansion into Northern Virginia and recently announced expansion into Montreal and Quebec City through the pending 4Degrees Colocation acquisition.
The new Phoenix data center campus will total 160MW of critical load and more than 1 million (!) square feet once fully developed. It will be the largest of Vantage's seven current and planned data center campuses when complete.

📅 - Belgian Hosting Firm Combell Acquires Antwerp-based Nucleus - The Combell (combell.nl -> combell.com) Hosting group, a European hosting provider headquartered in Belgium and serving around 800,000 customers in Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland, has made another acquisition. After acquiring Swiss hosting company Switchplus last month and Danish hosting group Zitcom in 2017, Combell has now announced the acquisition of Antwerp-based hosting provider, Nucleus (nucleus.be -> combell.com).
"Thanks to this acquisition, Combell Group further strengthens its Belgian and European market leadership position in hosting," said Jonas Dhaenens, founder and CEO of Combell Group.
