Lumina Networks, an open source software-defined networking (SDN) company, a Brocade spin-off, has announced the closing of its $10 million Series A financing, including $8 million in new funding led by Verizon Ventures (verizonventures.com). Other new investors included AT&T and Rahi Systems.

The Qixing data center design would take advantage of the area's chilly weather and create a natural cooling system for the servers inside this facility. Advanced building technologies were used to shorten the construction time, according to Tencent's management.

Total potential capacity of these two data centers in the Amsterdam area for Iron Mountain is 34MW.
The transaction provides Iron Mountain with 11 megawatts (MW) of existing data center capacity in the Metropolitan Region Amsterdam (MRA) in the Netherlands, which is 100% leased, with expansion capability of an additional 23 MW, for total potential capacity of 34 MW.
