📅 - Tech giants like Microsoft, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube announced that they will work together to help remove the social influence terrorist organizations currently have. Using social media, terrorist propaganda is allowed to spread online and help organizations recruit new members.
On Monday, the companies announced that they would create a database to track the digital fingerprints of these organizations, enabling them to quickly remove images and videos identified as originating from terrorist organizations. The database will be in action at the first of the year according to a statement released by Microsoft.
