📅 - With HostingCon 2016 just around the corner, the venue has seen many of the best spots fill up. The top spots have been scooped up by companies, such as Liquid Web and SoftLayer. Both took two of the three large rectangle spots.

Other companies scooping up the biggest squares in the center of the convention include Topline Ventures, Odin, CloudFlaire, Conversational, Parallels, Inspur and Soho. Every year, the number of exhibitors has increased and this year it's expected to eclipse the 150 mark.

📅 - Intel Forecasts Shift to Scale Computing Data Centers by 2025 - Intel just announced its recent findings that scale computing in data centers is expected to encompass between 70 and 80% of the data center market within 10 years.

Jason Waxman, VP and GM of Intel's Cloud Platforms Group, stated the following in an interview:

“We see that the world is moving to scale computing in data centers. Our projection is between 70 and 80 percent of the computing, network, and storage will be going into what we call scale data centers by 2025.”
