Intel Forecasts Shift to Scale Computing Data Centers by 2025

📅 April 25, 2016 - Intel just announced its recent findings that scale computing in data centers is expected to encompass between 70 and 80% of the data center market within 10 years.

Jason Waxman, VP and GM of Intel's Cloud Platforms Group, stated the following in an interview:

“We see that the world is moving to scale computing in data centers. Our projection is between 70 and 80 percent of the computing, network, and storage will be going into what we call scale data centers by 2025.”
