📅 August 23, 2010 - Company appoints Rolf Schwirz as the new CEO.

Fujitsu Technology Solutions, a provider of ICT-based business solutions, recently announced the appointment of Rolf Schwirz as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The company says that Schwirz will report directly to Richard Christou, Corporate Senior Executive Vice President at Fujitsu Limited. It adds that Schwirz will take up his new position at the company by November 2010 latest.

The company states that Schwirz joins it from SAP where he is currently Head of Mature Markets EMEA. Prior to SAP, Schwirz spent 12 years in various roles at Oracle, including those of Vice President Sales Germany, CEO Nordic-Germany, and Senior Vice President Western Continental Europe. Munich-based, Schwirz began his career in 1983 as a systems consultant, holding a number of management positions at Siemens Nixdorf and Siemens AG.

"I believe Rolf has the breadth of experience in both product and services to bring real added value and leadership to Fujitsu," says Richard Christou.
