HostGator, a web hosting service provider, today announced its public backup service, SiteAutoBackup.Com, which allows anyone hosting their websites using the cPanel control panel to be able to automatically backup their websites, databases, emails, and cPanel configuration settings by simply providing their cPanel login details. It further states that businesses having Web Host Manager (WHM) access can now enjoy the same convenience of automated backups by simply providing their WHM login details.The company clarifies that this backup service is open to the general public, not just HostGator customers.
