HostDime, a web hosting provider, today announced that it has received IP address allocations from the Reseaux IP Europeens Network Coordination Centre (RIPE CC) and the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC). The company claims that on account of the new IP allocations, it has IP addresses in more than half of the world's internet regions.

It explains that along with its allocations from the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN), it now has IP addresses in three out of the five regional Internet registries. It further states that in the coming year, it plans to receive an IP address allocation from the Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), which will help it continue to expand its operations internationally.

The company avers that local region IP assignment is an important variable in the ranking algorithms for many search engines. It adds that with IPs in such a variety of regions, it has an edge over other hosting companies.

"HostDime is one few hosting firms that physically operates in more than three international locations and maintains its own IP ranges in each respective region. Today's announcement is yet another milestone for our company as we continue to add more international hosting offerings to better service our clients' worldwide needs. Local region IP routing is crucial to international operations," said Emmanuel Vivar, CEO of HostDime.
