📅 November 24, 2009 - Company signs the agreement for the acquisition of Poundhost, one of the UK's leading company in the dedicated hosting market.

Namesco, a web hosting provider, today announced that it undertook the acquisition of Poundhost on the 19th November 2009. Namesco, wholly owned by Register.it S.P.A, the subholding of the Dada Group heading the Dada.Pro division will own 100% of the capital of the companies composing Poundhost, including Poundhost Internet Ltd, Server Arcade Ltd, VPS Ltd and Blueconnex Ltd. The company states that Poundhost, with over 10,000 dedicated and virtual servers and a large high-end customer base, of which 30% in the US, offers professional management solutions for online presence to businesses and is one of the leading company in the United Kingdom for dedicated hosting services.

It further states that the acquisition of Poundhost is consistent with the Dada group strategy, to consolidate its leadership in the European market and to strengthen the position of the Group in the management of online identity and presence of innovative web advertising solutions. Dada.pro already has a consolidated presence in terms of clients managed in the UK, with the market renowned for high growth rates of digital services and online advertising.
