dotMobi, the company behind the .mobi internet domain name for mobile phones and the dev.mobi developer forum, today announced a series of user-friendly improvements to its internationally recognized Instant Mobilizer service. According to the company, the enhanced product is designed to help businesses take advantage of the growing mobile web channel by automatically creating their mobile sites using existing content from their PC-based web sites.

It further states that the Instant Mobilizer now offers a vCard feature that allows site visitors to save a business phone and address directly into their contacts as well as a Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feature that makes RSS feeds on a business PC-based site accessible via a link on the mobile site. The company avers that the list of registrars offering the service has recently grown toinclude Name.com and Moniker in the United States and Directi in Indiaplus imminent launches by China-based Beijing Innovative, HiChina WebSolutions and Xin Net as well as Russia-based RU-CENTER. This means that Instant Mobilizer is now available to more than 80 percent of current .mobi domain owners, adds the company.
