Drift2 Web Services, Inc., a provider of shared and reseller hosting services, today announced the acquisition of Utaria.net, also a provider of shared hosting.

The company states that today's acquisition will enable it to serve a broader variety of shared hosting clients and grow at a faster pace. Both Utaria.net and it currently utilize the H-Sphere control panel to provision and manage shared hosting accounts, making the integration of the two companies virtually seamless. It further states that it plans to integrate all existing Utaria.net customers into its primary server cluster and ultimately manage all customers under the Drift2 brand.
