Mar 26, 2009 : AtlanticMetro Expands POP at CRG West

atlanticmetro.net logo📅 - Managed hosting provider Atlantic Metro Communications (atlanticmetro.net) announced on Thursday it has expanded its points of presence within three CRG West (http://www.crgwest.com) data centers across the US in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

The CRG West data centers are located at 32 Avenue of the Americas in New York, 427 South LaSalle in Chicago and at One Wilshire in Los Angeles.

The expansion builds on Atlantic Metro Communications' previous opening of its network points of presence at Switch and Data's sites in North Bergen, New Jersey and Manhattan, earlier this month.

This expansion marks a strategic move for Atlantic Metro Communications, positioning the company to provide additional and enhanced Internet, transport and colocation services for its web hosting, enterprise, network and Internet customers.

CRG West has 11 carrier-neutral data centers in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Northern Virginia, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington D.C.

Atlantic Metro Communications will also use CRG West's Any2 Exchange points in Los Angeles and New York, enabling Atlantic Metro to provide enhanced Internet connectivity services to their customers.

According to the company, the peering connection will allow Atlantic Metro to offer Internet services with lower latency and 100 percent uptime SLA guarantees.

"This is a great opportunity for Atlantic Metro to continue to provide enhanced services to our customers," says Stephen Klenert, CEO of Atlantic Metro Communications. "By finalizing our latest network POPs, our nationwide network now spans 335 on-net buildings; and with both strategic connections on the Any2 Exchange, Atlantic Metro now has enhanced global peering capabilities, giving our network more reach than it has ever had before."

Atlantic Metro is now offering a range of services, including IP transit, Ethernet transport, dark fiber, colocation and managed services at CRG West data centers in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.

In addition to operating data centers and networks throughout the New York Metropolitan area and Chicago, Atlantic Metro Communications also provides managed Internet service provider solutions, colocation, metro transport, IP bandwidth, managed hosting and voice solutions.
