Mar 10, 2009 : Telx Holds NJ Data Center Grand Opening
📅 - Data center operator Telx (telx.com) announced on Tuesday it is hosting a grand opening for its newest data center in Clifton, New Jersey on April 23 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., which will include breakfast, lunch, a CXO "State of the Data Center Roundtable Discussion," facility tours, and networking sessions.
Telx first announced in November it acquired the 24,000 square foot colocation data center at 100 Delawanna Avenue.
The data center enables customers to connect to more than 400 firms, including carriers, business exchanges, and enterprises, all with only a single point of connection between the networks.
The network-neutral facility provides access to the largest number of carriers and businesses with some of the lowest latency rates in the region, as well as offers diverse connections to two Telx's New York City facilities and a third facility in Weehawken, New Jersey.
The day will begin with the ribbon cutting ceremony taking place from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., followed by breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
There will be a brief keynote presentation from 9:30 a.m. to 9:50 p.m., followed by the CXO Roundtable: Industry Luminaries give Opinions on the "State of the 2009 Data Center" from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and a Roundtable follow-up discussions and questions session between from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Telx will be discussing its new solutions, pricing promotions, which includes its new cabinet bundles promotion, and a wide range of services.
Finally, the remainder of the day's agenda will include a lunch, networking session and facility tours from 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Those individuals who are interesting in attending the event can RSVP Telx's Jennifer Sauer at jsauer@telx.com.
