Mar, 2009 : HP Offers USA.NET Email Solutions to VARs
📅 - Email hosting provider USA.NET (usa.net) announced on Wednesday it has signed an agreement with HP (hp.com) to provide its hosted messaging and collaboration solutions as a part of their software as a service offering for HP channel partners.
USA.NET was recently named a "Top Player" in an analyst firm's report on the business email market, delivering 38 million messages per day and managing 80 terabytes of data and more than a million business mailboxes in 120 countries.
The joint initiative will enable HP's value-added resellers, managed services providers, IT integrators, and other channel partners to provide new revenue streams and help them to become strategic advisors to their clients.
USA.NET will work with HP to give VARs the comprehensive tools and guidance to enable them to offer USA.NET's suite of hosted messaging, collaboration, email archiving, security and mobility services.
Resellers of USA.Net will then be able to generate new revenue streams by offering their small and midsize business customers a greater selection of solution delivery methods.
USA.NET's hosted Microsoft Exchange 2007, Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services, commercial messaging services, mobile messaging, email archiving, enhanced messaging, and secure messaging services can be sold to VARs and managed service providers looking to expand their hosting business.

In addition to generating recurring revenues for hosted business email solutions, VARs can also offer value-added services such as integration, customization and remote provisioning to managed services provider customers.

Microsoft also announced this week it is now offering Canadian businesses a free 30-day trial of four hosted services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office Communications Online and Office Live Meeting.
