Jan, 2009 : USA.NET Leads Business Email Market Share

📅 - Delivering 38 million messages per day and managing 80 terabytes of data and more than a million business mailboxes in 120 countries, USA.NET (usa.net) has been named a "Top Player" in an analyst firm's report on the business email market, finishing the year closely ahead of sector giant Google (http://www.google.com).

The Radicati Group's (http://www.radicati.com) Hosted Business Email-Market Quadrant 2008 report ranked USA.NET as the market leader in terms of market share and for its affordable, comprehensive suite of hosted business email services. According to USA.Net, the only other company that ranked close to it was Google.

"We are very pleased to be consistently ranked by the Radicati Group and other leading 3rd party sources as the market leader in the rapidly growing hosted business email and messaging market," USA.NET President Doug Howard, who is also chief strategy officer of USA.NET's parent company Perimeter eSecurity (http://www.perimeterusa.com).

"In this challenging economy companies are seeking outsourced providers that meet the high deliverability and reliability needs email and messaging require," Howard said. "We are proud that these 3rd parties see us as the best choice."

In October, the Radicati Group named USA.NET "top player" in the Microsoft Exchange email hosting market for the second year in a row.

USA.NET's hosted business-class email is available in Commercial Messaging Services or Hosted Exchange-based packages that can be mixed and matched to reduce a company's Total Cost of Ownership, while giving it access to advanced features such as mobility support for all popular handheld devices. USA.NET is also one of only a handful of vendors to offer enterprise instant messaging, as well as managed Microsoft Office Communications Server.

The Radicati Group's report noted that USA.NET's Hosted Microsoft Exchange solution is highly scalable and customizable, making it adaptable to a particular company's needs. USA.NET also offers premium security including anti-spam and anti-virus protection, and advanced services such as personal quarantine, collaboration, archiving and content filtering.
