📅 January 16, 2009 - Managed hosting provider Fpweb.net (fpweb.net ) announced on Friday it is celebrating 10 years of offering Microsoft SharePoint hosting and service, reaching more than one million SharePoint users around the world.

Formerly known as Frontpages Web Hosting Network, Fpweb.net has focused its business on SharePoint hosting since 1999,

The company offers both managed Windows SharePoint Services and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server hosting plans to meet customers specific collaboration needs.

Fpweb.net CEO Rob LaMear IV says the company has continually strived to ensure that its team and infrastructure are highly qualified for the SharePoint environment through its extensive training, certification, such as the Safe Harbor certification for data protection, and partnerships.

In August, Fpweb.net sponsored a worldwide SharePoint User Group initiative to help create online SharePoint communities where users can share knowledge and experience.

"We began hosting SharePoint during the first year it was released, making us the pioneers for SharePoint hosting," says LaMear. "We had no idea how essential it would become, but we took the chance and it's been well worth it."

Fpweb.net has a SharePoint certified engineers dedicated to building, maintaining and supporting each client's SharePoint solution.
