Known for its unusual, one-time-fee-based web hosting, as opposed to offering monthly subscriptions, 2ip is offering a limited-time 50 percent discount on all new Canadian or United Kingdom shared hosting orders, with prices starting at a one-time payment of $12.95, using the coupon codes CAPROMO and UKPROMO.
"We've recognized a noticeable increase in signups from customers in Canada and the Untied Kingdom, and there is growing demand for us to replicate our successful United States-based hosting model for other parts of the world," said Jimmy Tanzil, managing director of 2ip's parent company, Ichthys Media (ichthysmedia.com). "Offering localized hosting solutions in other countries allows us to expand to scale and scope of our services, and we foresee this strategy as contributing to our growth in the next two to three years."
2ip also plans to add points of presence in a variety of countries in 2009, including China by the second quarter.
