This is the second major appointment the company has announced in the last couple weeks, signifying a crucial restructuring of the company's upper management.

The company recently appointed Phillip Spencer the company's chief executive officer, while former CEO Gabriel Murphy has stayed on with the company serving in the positions of president and chief strategy officer.

Siemers brings more than two decades of leadership experience to the company, including international management roles for a Fortune 500 company.

He joins Aplus.Net from communications technology firm Everest Connections, where he served as CFO. In this postion, Seimers helped to steer a significant financial turnaround, improving the value of the business by $125 million.

Before his time at Everest, he spent a decade working in multiple high-level positions for Aquila, most recently as VP of international finance management, where he directed corporate financial activities for $1 billion in international gas and electric investments in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Seimers also held seats on various board of directors and directorships at Aquila that involved the oversight of high-level corporate due diligence, cost effectiveness, business opportunity identification, and contract negotiations, as well as the company's multimillion-dollar corporate acquisition and merger strategy.
