Apr 11, 2008 : Demowolf Adds Subscription Option
📅 - Web hosting tutorial provider DemoWolf (demowolf.com) announced on Thursday it is now offering a subscription option (demowolf.com/subscription-tutorials.php) for all available tutorial series, both voice and non-voice.
Web hosting providers can now choose between purchasing the tutorials they want, or subscribing to them on a monthly basis.
"Many people have told us they wish our tutorials were cheaper," says Rob Moore, president of DemoWolf. "What we think they mean is 'less expensive', since we know our customers value the quality we put into every tutorial series we produce. So we've developed this new system that allows us to provide tutorials for a monthly subscription price, which in turn significantly lowers the 'cost of entry.'"
Demowolf says another reason why it is offering subscription tutorials is to allow companies to rebrand their tutorials when they change their logo, as well as to be able to provide the latest updated tutorials. Companies that subscribe to the tutorials will receive unlimited free updates to their tutorials as new version become available, as well as one free logo change every three months.
Purchased tutorials and tutorial subscriptions only differ in that subscription tutorials contain a small bit of code that requires an active license in order for the tutorials to display properly. Subscriptions can be cancelled, and licenses deactivated in the event that customers decide they no longer want those tutorials. Demowolf recently launched its tutorial reseller program, enabling companies to sell their tutorials and make a profit doing so.
