The Denver, Colorado-based non-profit organization provides four-year "life scholarships" to help in the recovery process of men and women in the US Armed Forces with service-related injuries. The non-profit is currently in the middle of moving its operations to San Ramon, California. Data393 will provide the organization with managed Windows and Linux servers which provide central management and high reliability hosting for its website. The organization's website is used to recruit sentinels, sponsors and donations to help in the recovery of US veterans wounded while serving their country. "We appreciate the support of Data393 for helping make our humanitarian effort a success," says Mike Conklin, president of the Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundation. "We hope the website will continue to be a life-changing resource for our many wounded veterans who face the everyday hardships of finding a home, continuing their education, or going to work to support their families once they are released from the hospital."
Data393 is located in the Inverness Business Park in southeast Denver. The company says it offers colocation, managed hosting, disaster recovery and IP Network services featuring Cisco, Microsoft, Red Hat, EMC and Compellent technologies from a SAS 70 Type II facility.
Earlier this year, Data393 was acquired by Managed Data Holdings, who also operates Intelenet Communications in Irvine, California. With the two facilities, Managed Data Holdings has a combined high density, raised-floor capacity in excess of 60,000 square feet.
