Tim Mateosian, co-founder of online services provider Big Room Studios (bigroomstudios.com) has been rewarded with a managed hosting server, which includes 1TB of monthly data transfer and bi-weekly vulnerability scans.
Mateosian, who says he has been a PEER 1 customer for nearly six years, was one of more than 1,000 online entries who entered PEER 1's open contest after viewing the premier episode of the company's video-short series, "Growing Pains." "The best thing about this contest is that it truly helps Tim solve his IT growing pains and expand his business," says Rajan Sodhi, VP of marketing at PEER 1. "Business and tech managers go through many IT challenges as their online demands grow. Sharing their stories in entertaining ways can help others navigate the complexities of running an online business." The Portland, Maine-headquartered Big Room Studios offers a range of online services, including Web and print design, Web development and IT support and consulting. Founded in 2002 by Mateosian and his brother, the company now has customers throughout North America and the UK. PEER 1 will be throwing another online contest, which invites contestants to create and upload their own 'growing pains' video. The contest coincides with the upcoming second episode of Growing Pains in May.
PEER 1 announced last month it is using Juniper's M-series Multiservice Edge Routers in all its major points of presence around the world.
