Feb 15, 2008 : ViUX Deploys Parallels Solutions

📅 February 15, 2008 - Web hosting provider ViUX (viux.com -> hostinger.com) announced on Friday that it has deployed Web hosting software provider Parallels' (parallels.com) software solutions to provide a complete hosting automation system for its clients and resellers.

ViUX says its new hosting system is based on HSPComplete, Virtuozzo, Plesk and SiteBuilder to fully automate all four levels of hosting it offers, including shared hosting servers, virtual private servers, dynamic dedicated servers and reseller hosting servers. The company will also be able to offer leased licenses for these products to other hosting providers and resellers in a license leasing module.

To market this new software infrastructure, ViUX says it has also re-designed its website to offer customers an easier interface to work with and that complements the new capabilities of its automated and virtualized hosting system.

"Parallels gives us a completely automated hosting infrastructure and allows us to offer virtualized hosting to bridge the gap for those customers that have outgrown the shared hosting environment but are not quite ready for a fully dedicated server," says Joe Murphy, VP of ViUX. "In addition, we can now offer automated deployment of hosted applications in a SaaS module, such as SmarterMail, SmarterStats, DotNetNuke, Miva Merchant and osCommerce."

Parallels recently released a templates catalog for Parallels Virtuozzo Containers, a library of more than 350 software downloads that can be used to create and manage operating systems and applications running in virtual environments.
