📅 - Managed hosting and colocation provider InteleNet Communications (intelenet.net -> ionos.com) announced on Wednesday it has successfully completed a Statement on Accounting Standards No. 70 audit for the third consecutive year. Independent auditor and certified public accounting firm, McGladrey & Pullen, issued the SAS 70 (II) report.
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Statement on Auditing Standards 70 defines professional standards used by an auditor to assess the internal controls of a service provider. A Type II report is considered the standard's most rigorous category of audits and reports.
McGladrey & Pullen conducted a comprehensive audit of InteleNet's processes, procedures and internal controls relating to its colocation services and managed services provided to its customers. The SAS 70 audit results once again validated the controls and procedures of InteleNet. "Through the completion of this process, for the third year in a row, our customers should now be more confident than ever that our colocation services and managed services are dependable and secure," says Carlos Oliveira, GM of InteleNet. "We are dedicated to meeting all of the needs of our customers, and we believe that the SAS 70 certification is a great advantage to our customers by saving them the cost and hassle of conducting an internal review of InteleNet's processes."
Intelenet announced last month it started construction on the expansion of its Irvine, California data center.
