Feb 7, 2008 : Jamcracker Launches WebStores

📅 February 7, 2008 - On-demand services delivery provider Jamcracker (jamcracker.com) announced on Thursday that it has launched Jamcracker WebStores, a complete software as a service solution that enables traditional channel service providers to add on-demand applications to their existing portfolios.

Jamcracker WebStores provides a front and back-end services delivery infrastructure, billing and settlement, as well as customer administration and support for SaaS products from trusted brands including Microsoft, WebEx and McAfee.

Jamcracker says its on-demand distribution and support services are currently used by many telcos to deliver value-added services to their customers and WebStores now makes this same distribution infrastructure available to value added resellers, managed service providers and Web hosting providers.

"Businesses want to purchase application services in the same manner they purchase traditional IT products, from a trusted source who understands their business needs and can deliver the appropriate solutions, services and support," says Steve Crawford, VP of marketing for Jamcracker. "Jamcracker WebStores allow resellers to quickly and easily capitalize on the equity they have earned selling traditional software, hardware and integration services and grow customer loyalty and revenues with subscription-based offerings."

Jamcracker recently partnered with TELUS to launch TELUS Future Suite, a software as a service delivery infrastructure for communications service providers.
