TELUS forms a strategic alliance with Ernst & Young to deliver Hosting and Security Service

📅 June 8, 2001 - Canadian telecommunications firm TELUS Enterprise Solutions announced today that the company has formed a strategic alliance with Ernst & Young to offer Internet hosting and security services to TELUS business customers.

With this agreement, TELUS Enterprise Solutions will provide managed Web hosting and Application Service Provider (ASP) services and Ernst & Young will provide a suite of standard and advanced security offerings to enhance TELUS Enterprise Solutions' two new Internet Data Centres.
By aligning with Ernst & Young's solid and established reputation in e-services security offerings, TELUS said it accelerates its strategy for growth in managed hosting services throughout the Canadian business market.
"With this alliance, our customers can be very confident that TELUS will provide complete, secure, reliable, and high-performance e-Business services," said Garry Rasmussen, president of TELUS Enterprise Solutions.
