📅 - SAVVIS Communications Corp. (savvis.com), a premier global network services provider, announced on Monday that it is making a commitment to establishing resellers and agents as complementary sales channels to its direct sales force.
SAVVIS' Alternate Channels business unit has launched a package of sales and engineering training, marketing and sales support, and front-end and back-office systems for its strategic partners. These tools and support will enable SAVVIS channel partners to private label SAVVIS products with their own brand or bundle SAVVIS networking services with their own offerings to deliver a total solution to the marketplace.
The company is currently working with regional telecommunications companies, fiber optic providers, system integrators, and Application Service Providers to use SAVVIS products and management systems to enter new geographic markets or to enhance their own offerings with SAVVIS' virtual private network service called Intelligent IP, Internet access, and managed hosting services. SAVVIS' channel partners currently include 4 resellers and 10 agents and the company expects to announce new global partners shortly.
