📅 - Industry leader AppliedTheory (appliedtheory.com), an Internet development and managed hosting partner for hundreds of large corporations, announced yesterday that it will provide dedicated Web hosting for Intellidyn's (intellidyn.com) huge database, which contains demographic and purchasing data on virtually anyone in the United States.
In addition to hosting, AppliedTheory is providing Internet access and a secure firewall that will be available to Intellidyn's customers, including many Fortune 1000 corporations. Intellidyn selected AppliedTheory to add connectivity and security to its database, which consists of 313 credit, 333 demographic, 434 lifestyle variables, and "e" channel activity. Intellidyn provides database integration, target marketing and prospect databases, and allows companies unrestricted access to consumer data. "By leveraging AppliedTheory's expertise in providing secure dedicated hosting environments, Intellidyn can concentrate on its core business activities and reduce operating expenses," said Denis Martin, senior vice president of products and services at AppliedTheory.
