KSolutions, Compaq, United Training to Deliver Rapid Implementation of SharePoint

📅 July 11, 2001 - Ksolutions (ksolutionsinc.com), Compaq (compaq.com), and United Training (unitedtraining.com) announced Tuesday that they have teamed to offer a five-day rapid implementation of Microsoft's SharePoint Portal Server technology.

The service, called K.SPRINT, unites leaders of the knowledge management, hardware and training industries to help make use of their technology investments in only five days.
Additionally, for small to mid-sized companies or individual departments that use SharePoint, K.SPRINT will provide high-end managed Web and application hosting services through itsWorldCom and Digex hosting facilities specifically.
By eliminating IT interference issues, Microsoft's SharePoint Portal Server can be installed almost immediately with a service agreement that ensures availability of the SharePoint Portal via the Internet.
Compaq ProLiant servers will represent the hardware backbone of the K.SPRINT Program,delivering ProLiant server configurations.
"We realized early on that Microsoft's SharePoint would become a key component of the solutions and services we offer to our clients," said John Hart, Executive Vice President of solutions development for KSolutions. "K.SPRINT manifests that idea and offers that same potential to other companies that would like to experience and test its feasibility for their own solutions."
