Keynote and CA Announce Web Application Performance Management

(ca.com) yesterday announced the integration of Keynote's Enterprise Perspective Web performance management service with the newest release of Unicenter, CA's award-winning eBusiness Infrastructure Management solution, giving mutual customers greater insight into the performance metrics of their web applications.

"Keynote Enterprise Perspective enables even higher system availability and improved application performance, while maximizing the existing investment in application monitoring technology."
Unicenter customers can use Enterprise Perspective to measure, monitor, assure and improve the performance of any browser-based application, including business-critical supply chain, eCRM, enterprise resource planning, business intelligence, and asset management applications, as well as the performance of web pages and portals.
They can also predict problems before they occur; immediately see the impact on performance when an internal device fails and allocate resources appropriately; and evaluate site design and infrastructure changes by correlating detailed metrics from both sides of the firewall.
Enterprise Perspective for Unicenter 2.4 is now available, and is priced at $7,500 per, plus a one-time set-up fee of $10,000, which includes installation, Unicenter integration, customization and training. Other subscription-based add-ons are also available.
