Jul, 2001 : Ioko365 Delivers iPass Roaming Service to UK Enterprises

📅 July 13, 2001 - iPass Inc (ipass.com), a premier provider of carrier-grade remote access services, yesterday announced an agreement with ioko365 (ioko365.com), one of the UK's leading technology services providers, that will provide global roaming Internet access services to be integrated into ioko365's portfolio of network service offerings.

This alliance will allow ioko365 (formerly Infocom) to complete their secure mobile access service, developed for mobile professionals as part of their suite of managed network and infrastructure services for major UK enterprises.

"Not only can ioko365 implement and manage network and security service requirements such as VPNs, authentication or systems design, but it can also manage base service disciplines like messaging, content management and applications development for major corporations."

The iPass global remote access solution uses a network of over 14,000 points of presence in 150 countries. Access is available through multiple devices including laptops, desktops, handheld computers and PDAs. iPass recently branched into broadband roaming services after years of providing inter-carrier Internet roaming facilities.
