Designed as a supplement to in-house security resources, this servicecompliments internal defences to ensure the highest degree of protectionagainst malicious intruders and potential hackers.

The INIT Remote Monitored Firewall Service offering allows organizations touse the expertise of Interliant's certified professionals to strengthentheir existing, on-site security infrastructure. This offering deliversround-the-clock monitoring of a customer's firewall environment and providesutilization reports via a secure Web site. More important, Interliant'ssecurity engineers provide notification to the customer on triggered eventsor when utilization thresholds have exceeded established standards.
A Firewall replacement service is also available, a value-add for companieswith existing Check Point/Nokia solutions. Under this option, Interliantsecurity professionals will audit the customer site to identify allinstalled network security devices. Further, the team will replace alllegacy firewall equipment with a solution built on Check Point/Nokiafirewall technologies. Interliant bundles this service with its INIT RemoteMonitored Firewall.

Once the Check Point/Nokia firewall is in place, the INIT Remote MonitoredFirewall Service offers customers an SLA with a 24x7x365 monitoring service.Pricing is based on the length of the contract commitment. A 12-monthcontract is priced at $595 per month, a 24-month contract at $545 per month,and a 36-month contract for $530 per month.
