Sun Microsystems Teams with BellZinc.ca to reach SMB market


📅 - Sun Microsystems of Canada Inc. is taking aim at the market for entry-levelWintel and Lintel systems through an initiative withBellZinc.ca, Bell Zinc Corporation's Web destinationfor small- and medium-sized businesses in Canada.Under the terms of an agreement with Bell Zinc,jointly owned by Bell ActiMedia and AllBusiness, SunMicrosystems of Canada will use BellZinc.ca as a saleschannel for its family of Sun Cobalt Internet serverappliances.

According to IDC Canada, the PC server market forsmall- and medium-sized businesses in Canada isforecast to reach C$322 million for 2003 or 53,000units representing a 38 percent growth over 2001shipments.
