Sep, 2001 : KPNQwest Announces Pan-European Co-Op With Intel Network

📅 September 12, 2001 - KPNQwest (kpnqwest.com), a leading pan-European data communications and hosting company, yesterday announced a Pan-Europeanco-operation with Intel Corporation (intel.com), the world's largest chipmaker, to offer e-Business solutions which combine advanced Intelarchitecture servers with the scalable hosting services offered by KPNQwest.

These combined services will be deployed from KPNQwest CyberCentrefacilities across Europe. The agreement also means that KPNQwest becomes thefirst pan-European service provider to join Intel's e-Business Network inthis quality, one of the largest e-business communities in the world.
This gives KPNQwest access to leading hardware vendors, software providersand system integrators in developing and deploying the most advancede-Business solutions. The companies say that customers will benefit fromgreater choice and added flexibility in selecting the most innovativetechnology and reliable platforms for running their e-Business applications.
The new technology channels, or Intel ecosystem, will be used to support theKPNQwest basic, dedicated and enhanced hosting offers, combined withcustomised Applications Infrastructure Provider solutions for bothenterprises and service providers. The two companies will also collaborateon joint marketing activities and project initiatives to accelerate thedesign and implementation of new e-Business solutions.
