(mfn.com), a provider ofdigital communications infrastructure solutions, will provide Internetconnectivity and co-location services to ChainCast Networks, Inc.(chaincast.com). ChainCast Networks is a provider of streaming solutions formedia groups, radio webcasters, Internet infrastructure companies andcorporate enterprises.
ChainCast will use MFN's secure Internet infrastructure to improve itsservice delivery capabilities and enhance its customers' experience withhigh-quality webcasts and streaming content services. Under the agreement,MFN will lease co-location space in its data center in San Jose, Calif. MFNuses a scalable terabit-speed IP network that can transport massive amountsof data and handle unexpected spikes in traffic.
ChainCast's technology is a broad networking, peer-to-peer streamingplatform. Its patented Virtual Multicast Routing (VMR) solution allowscustomers to stream content by creating dynamic overlay networks that turnend-users into active, commercial-strength content distribution networkswithout network and bandwidth infrastructure expansion. MFN is providing theco-location solution that improves the reliability of the originationstreams that feed into the VMR overlay network serving streaming content toend-users.
