IBM Canada and Knowledge Impact Offer Joint e-Learning Support


📅 - IBM Canada (can.ibm.com) and Knowledge Impact (kimpact.com) today announced joint e-learning offerings designed to help Canadian companies ensure employees are more confident, skilled, and productive.

"Our alliance with Knowledge Impact is the first of its kind for IBM'sMindspan Services practice," said Tom Whyte, general manager of IBM LearningServices. "IBM is now the only company in the e-learning market withexpertise in post-training employee support, as well as e-learningconsulting, content development and e-learning technologies."
The agreement between IBM Learning Services, the division of IBM GlobalServices responsible for developing customers' e-learning solutions, andKnowledge Impact, a provider of Web-based training and performance support,will see the pairing of IBM's Mindspan e-Learning offerings with KnowledgeImpact's KnowledgeMate Performance Support System.
The new offering will initially focus on the ERP and CRM marketplaces, whereboth IBM Global Services and Knowledge Impact have an established presence.The business relationship takes effect immediately in Canada, and there areplans to expand the agreement to additional geographies in the near future.
Knowledge Impact will be authorized to offer its Canadian customers the fullrange of products and services comprising the IBM Mindspan offerings.Additionally, IBM Learning Services will offer Knowledge Impact's productsto customers implementing e-learning and performance support solutions forCRM and ERP applications.
