Dialtone Upgrades Managed Hosting Products to IBM eServers

📅 March 25, 2002 - Florida-based Web hosting firm Dialtone Internet (dialtone.com) said today that new and existing customers could now order Linux or Windows-based managed hosting services using IBM 200, 300, 342, and 350 eServer series machines.

Dialtone said the upgrade represents faster and more reliable server performance for clients, and lets customers host Web sites on IBM brand servers instead of "white servers" or generic machines built in-house.
"In this current economic climate, Dialtone Internet is providing cost-effective, flexible business solutions for small to medium-sized companies looking to establish a managed hosting presence," said Alvaro Albarracin, CEO of Dialtone Internet. "Providing clients with the quality of the IBM eServer and our commitment to excellent customer service, our clients are able to expand their online presence and maintain a competitive edge in today's marketplace."
Dialtone Internet maintains data centers in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mexico City and London. The company supports a network of Internet servers, e-commerce applications and Web hosting systems for customers in 80 countries.
