📅 May 30, 2007 - Data protection solutions provider Sepaton (sepaton.com) announced on Wednesday that CitiStreet's Jeff Machols, vice president of global infrastructure, will present a case study entitled, "Controlling Data Protection Costs: A Real World Perspective" at the Gartner Infrastructure, Operations and Management Summit on June 13 at 11:00 am at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida.

CitiStreet is a global benefit provider and one of the nation's largest retirement plan record keepers. The company is using Sepaton's S2100 virtual tape library system and DeltaStor software to manage data growth while ensuring adherence to strict regulatory requirements.

In this presentation, Machols will highlight the effective steps that CitiStreet took to control its data center costs and improve its service levels. Attendees will learn how to apply these steps to take advantage of new data de-duplication and virtual tape library technologies to contain data growth, reduce power consumption, increase data availability and use floor space more efficiently.

Machols will be joined by Sepaton chief technology officer, Miklos Sandorfi. Jeffrey Machols serves as vice president of global infrastructure and systems integration manager for CitiStreet.
